Annual Scavenger’s Cup Clue List
The Scavenger’s Cup is divided into two parts:
In Part I, teams earn points
by answering the clues and/or taking selfies or video at various locations within
the City of Seattle. Your Judges have grouped clues together by location so
that teams can remain in one geographic area for the majority of the hunt;
teams are not expected to visit every location in Part I. Clues in Part I are
worth up to ten points each (except question number 12, which is worth a total
of 13 points).
In Part II, teams earn points by obtaining items from
a checklist, either with photographic/video evidence or a physical item. Wherever
possible, bonus points will be awarded for physically obtaining an item.
Checklist items have varying point values.
IMPORTANT:
USING YOUR SMART PHONE, PLEASE SUBMIT ANY PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS, OR ANSWERS TO
CLUES TO SCAVENGERSCUP@GMAIL.COM AS
YOU FIND THEM.
Include the number
of the clue you are responding to in the subject line of the email. This will
allow Your Judges to complete most of the scoring in real time. For example:
Subject: 10
ALL TEAMS MUST SOLVE THE FINAL CLUE, which leads you
to the final rendezvous point (and to Your Judges). Teams should arrive at the
final rendezvous point no earlier than 3:30 p.m. Teams that arrive at the final
rendezvous point after 4 p.m. will have points deducted from their total score.
Bonus points may be added at any time for style and panache.

typo in the museum—“Washington” is prominently misspelled in one of the
exhibits. Find the misspelling and take a picture. (10 points)
